Data Transformation Checks

The following BPM model checks are made on data transformations:

Check	Description and Correction
Data transformation name and code uniqueness	Data transformation names and codes must be unique in the namespace. Manual correction: Modify the duplicate name/code Automatic correction: Appends a number to the duplicate name/code
Empty transformation expression	The transformation expression should not be empty. Manual correction: Define a transformation expression in the Transformation tab of the data transformation property sheet Automatic correction: None
Empty assigned variable	The target variable of a transformation must not be undefined. Manual correction: Select a variable object in the Assigned Variable list of the data transformation property sheet Automatic correction: Creates a variable object and associates it with the data transformation
