PostgreSQL Base and Composite Type Domains

PowerDesigner supports the PostgreSQL BaseType and CompositeType data types.

1. Select Model > Domains to open the List of Domains.
2. Click the Add a Row tool to create a new domain, and then click the Properties tool to open its property sheet.
3. Select either BaseType or CompositeType from the Stereotype list and click Apply.
4. An new Base Type or Composite Type tab will be displayed, allowing you to specify type-specific extended attributes (see PostgreSQL extended attributes.
