Entity Identifier Checks (CDM/LDM)

The following CDM/LDM model checks are made on entity identifiers:

Check

Description and Correction

Entity identifier name and code uniqueness

Entity identifier names and codes must be unique in the namespace.

Manual correction: Modify the duplicate name/code

Automatic correction: Appends a number to the duplicate name/code.

Existence of entity attribute

At least one attribute must exist for an entity identifier.

Manual correction: Add an attribute to the entity identifier or delete the identifier.

Automatic correction: None.

Identifier inclusion

An identifier cannot include another one.

Manual correction: Delete the identifier that includes an existing identifier.

Automatic correction: None.
