Clients, such as Sybase Central and Open Client, are used to access Adaptive Server. See the Configuration Guide Open client and Open Server for your platform.
Sybase Central allows you to connect to Adaptive Server via client connections. You can use Sybase Central to connect to remote servers, local servers (installed on the same machine), and multiple servers. See “Configuring network connections for client products”. Before using the plug-in, restart your computer to implement changes made to the PATH and CLASSPATH environment variables during installation.
