To specify the application name for custom Java-based applications that communicate with the RAPCache database using jConnect TM for JDBC TM, invoke the method setProperty() on the java.util.Properties object that is used while establishing a database connection.
When invoking setProperty(), the property name that corresponds to the application name is “APPLICATIONNAME”. See the Programmers Reference jConnect for JDBC 6.05.
