Increasing Subscriber Performance

Improve derived-data transfer performance of the RAPCache and RAPStore subscribers.

Subscriber configuration
Parameter Description
Admin Channel Local Interface Determines the network interface card (NIC) that is used to process the administrative requests sent to the subscriber. Sybase recommends that you have have at least two NICs for machines that host subscribers. One is used for message flow activities and the other for derived-data transfer between the RAPCache and RAPStore subscribers. Both NICs should be connected to a high speed network for maximum performance.
Admin Channel Max Connections Controls the number of administrative requests that can be simultaneously processed by the subscriber. For optimal performance, set this number to 1 plus the number of transfers to be executed concurrently.
