Derived-Data Transfer Optimization

Derived-data transfer activity involves transferring generated derived data from the RAPCache database to the RAPStore database.

To transfer derived data, you must create transfer rules in the RAP system using the Operations Console. See the RAP – The Trading Edition™ Operations Console Users Guide.

You can modify RAPCache and RAPStore subscriber parameters, Operations Console parameters, and create user-defined execution classes to increase derived-data transfer performance.

  Transferring derived data involves the interaction of the RAPCache database with the Operations Console, RAPCache database Job Scheduler, and processes created by the RAPCache database Job Scheduler.
• Granting RAPCache Database User Account Permissions
  User accounts that are used to transfer data must be granted certain roles and permissions.
