Creating User-Defined Execution Classes

Message loading is a CPU-intensive activity. To enhance message-loading performance, create a user-defined execution class in the RAPCache database, use the component application name to associate the execution class with the component, and assign one or more dedicated database engines to the execution class.

User-defined execution classes
Description Component Component application name Recommended number of dedicated engines
A user-defined execution class improves the performance of loading the market data into the RAPCache database. RAPCache subscriber cacheloader A minimum of one dedicated engine and a maximum of (number of market data tables x number of partitions per table) dedicated engines should be associated with the user-defined execution class.
