Obtaining Your Host ID

Get your SySAM host ID.

  1. Change to $SYBASE/SYSAM-2_0/bin. Where $SYBASE is the Sybase installation directory.
  2. Enter: 
    ./lmutil lmhostid
  3. Save the host ID so you can use it later at SPDC.
    • Your host ID is platform-specific, but may be similar to:
      • 00400516E525 on Linux platforms.
      • 170a3472 on Solaris platforms.
      • fb491d9 on AIX platforms.
      • 972179e8-7b2b-11d7-bd55-4a651849415a on HP Itanium
