Configure a Monitor Server for each instance in the
cluster using the sybcluster
create
monitorserver command.

Start sybcluster. For example,
to start sybcluster and specify Unified Agents
on the nodes “blade1”, “blade2”,
and “blade3”, enter:
sybcluster -U uafadmin -P -F "blade1:1234,blade2:2345,blade3:3456"

Connect to the cluster. For example, to connect to “mycluster”:
connect to mycluster

Start the cluster:
start cluster

For each instance, Adaptive Server prompts you for:
- The Monitor Server port number
- A user name
- A password
