Downgrading

Learn how to downgrade from Adaptive Server 15.0.3 Cluster Edition to an earlier Adaptive Server Cluster Edition release. Downgrading to a 15.0.x, 12.5.x or earlier release is not supported. Instructions to downgrade to a 15.0.1 Cluster Edition or 15.0.1 cluster Edition ESD version include:

  Learn the basic steps for downgrading from Adaptive Server 15.0.3 Cluster Edition to a 15.0.1 Cluster Edition, and 15.0.1 Cluster Edition ESDs. Additional actions are required if you used 15.0.3 Cluster Edition features. Follow the steps in the Additional Steps If You Used 15.0.3 Cluster Edition Features Before Downgrading topic.
• Postdowngrade Tasks
  After you perform the basic downgrade steps, some changes from the 15.0.3 Cluster Edition upgrade still persist.
• Additional Steps If You Used 15.0.3 Cluster Edition Features Before Downgrading
  If you are rolling back after having used any of the 15.0.3 Cluster Edition features, additional steps may be necessary. Some steps must be completed before downgrading to 15.0.1 Cluster Edition and 15.0.1 cluster Edition ESDs, and other steps are performed immediately after downgrading. Read the documentation on the features below that may require manual changes.
• Downgrading Job Scheduler
  If you are downgrading to Adaptive Server versions 15.0.1 Cluster Edition or 15.0.1 Cluster Edition ESD, run installjsdb script from the lower version anytime you downgrade Job Scheduler.
