To add an instance, the max instances parameter must be greater than the current number of instances, and a cluster-supported agent must run on the node on which you are creating the instance. You must know the host name and port number of the unified agent (UA).
Open the Server Instances folder in the left pane to display the server instances and options in the right pane.
Select Add Cluster Server Instance to open the Add Cluster Server Instance wizard.
Follow the steps in the wizard to add an instance to the cluster.
Click Finish. The new instance is listed under the Server Instances view.
Do not add another instance to a node that already has
one, as the IO fencing feature requires that each instance be on
a separate node.
