Business Flow Properties

To open a business flow property sheet and view or edit its properties, double-click its diagram symbol or its Browser entry.

The General Tab contains the following properties:

Property

Description

Name

Specifies the name of the item, which should be clear and meaningful, and should convey the item's purpose to non-technical users.

Code

Specifies the technical name of the object, which is used for generating code or scripts

Comment

Descriptive comment for the object.

Stereotype

Extends the semantics of an object derived from existing objects but specific to your needs.

First object

Specifies the object at the origin of the link.

Second object

Specifies the object at the end of the link.

The following tabs are also available:


  • Documents – lists the documents associated with the flow (see Forms, Documents, and Reports (EAM)).

  • Condition – lets you specify a condition to be evaluated to determine if the flow will be triggered, as well as a short alias for the condition, which can be displayed on the flow symbol.
