Supported Datatypes

Sybase RAP supports integer (signed and unsigned), numeric and decimal, date, datetime, and character datatypes.

Sybase RAP supports the following datatypes:

8, 16, 32 and 64-bit SIGNED INTEGER and UNSIGNED INTEGER
NUMERIC and DECIMAL datatypes with precision from 1 to 18, inclusive
DATE
DATETIME
CHARACTER strings less than or equal to 255 bytes

Note:

Due to the underlying differences between the RAPCache and RAPStore databases, if a message contains an empty string, the empty string is stored as NULL in the RAPCache database and is stored as an empty string in the RAPStore database.
