Displaying a Component Version Number

(Optional) Use the -v command-line option to display the version string for a component.

Use this procedure to display the version string and copyright for the RAPCache subscriber, RAPStore subscriber, demo subscriber, or FAST feed handler. To get version information for the OpsConsole, look in rap_opsconsole.log.

Change to the component binary directory in your RAP installation directory.
For example, for the RAPStore subscriber in the default installation directory $RAP, enter:
```
cd $RAP/RAPStoreSubscriber/bin
```
Run the executable with the -v switch.
For example,
```
rapstoresubscriber -v
```

The component version string displays.
