Verifying RAPCache

Use the showserver command to determine whether the RAPCache server is running.

1. Open a command window.
2. Change to $RAP/RAPCache, where $RAP is your RAP installation directory.
3. Source the environment variables:

   source SYBASE.csh

   or

   . ./SYBASE.sh

4. Run:

   $RAP/RAPCache/ASE-15_5/install/showserver 

5. Check the message for references to: ...$RAP/RAPCache/ASE-15_5/bin/dataserver...
