Sybase recommends that you install components on separate servers.
A typical production environment requires four or more servers:
- A machine for the Ops Console database
- A machine for the feed handler
- A machine for the RAPCache and RAPCache subscriber
- A machine for the RAPStore and RAPStore subscriber
- For very high-volume systems, separate machines to process file transfers
