The RAP architecture includes feed handlers, publishers, subscribers, and data stores.
Feed handlers intercept real-time market data feeds, process the data using the publisher API, then send it over the network to one or more subscribers. Subscribers load messages into the appropriate data stores: this product also includes an in-memory cache database for immediate data access, and a historical repository. Unified Agent Framework (UAF) plug-ins running on each server handle communication between the Operations Console and RAP components.
