RAPCache Database

Verify the successful migration of the RAPCache Database.

Prerequisites The migration installation is complete and the components are installed on the machine.

To verify the update of the RAPCache Database:

  1. Go to <RAP_R2_Installdir>/RAPCache.
  2. Source SYBASE.sh.
  3. Change the directory to ASE-15_0/install.
  4. Start the RAPCache server: ./startserver -f RUN_RAPCache &. If you used a different name for the RAPCache server, execute RUN_<servername>.
  5. The RAPCache database starts up and handles all upgrade processes for you.
  6. Log on to your RAPCache server.
  7. Run the SQL command select @@version to verify the database is now on the correct version.
