FAST Feed Handler

The FAST Feed Handler connects directly to a market data feeds, receives FAST-encoded messages, decodes the data, and makes the decoded data available to the message handler plug-in.

The FIX Adapted for Streaming (FAST) protocol is an emerging standard defined by the FIX Protocol, Ltd. as a method of compressing messages to be exchanged over a network connection.

The FAST Feed Handler supports Version 1.1 of the FAST protocol and conforms to the Level 1 of the FAST Session Control Protocol (SCP) Version 1.1.
