Setting the Message Type

For each message definition, set the message type in the Properties sheet.

The message type is not set when you generate a message definition from a RAPCache or RAPStore physical data model.

  1. In the new or updated RAP Messages model, right-click the message definition and choose Properties.
  2. Enter a valid and unique message type, which must be an integer from 1 – 65535.
