Defining Message Properties

Define message details in the Properties sheet.

• General Tab Properties
  Name, Message Type, and Destination Table Name are on the General tab of the Message Definition Properties sheet.
• Attributes Tab Properties
  The Attributes tab of the Message Definition Properties sheet lets you quickly set information for all fields of a RAP message.
• Adding an Attribute to a Message
  Add fields to messages by adding attributes to the message definition.
• Identifiers
  An identifier is a column or combination of columns that uniquely defines a specific RAP message.
• Defining Identifiers
  Define identifiers to indicate which message attributes become keys in the destination table.
