Executing Custom DDL Scripts

Execute the DDL script in Interactive SQL and create database objects in the RAPCache database. These instructions apply to UNIX and Linux platforms.

Prerequisites 

If the RAPCache server is not running, start it.

  1. At the operating system prompt, enter the command: 
    isql -Sserver_name -Uuser_name -Ppassword -iase_ddl.sql -ologfile
  2. If PowerDesigner prompts you to save the current workspace, click No.
  3. If PowerDesigner prompts you to save the model, click Yes to save the modified model. Otherwise, click No.
  4. Check the log file for errors.
