Creating or Editing a Transfer Rule

Create new transfer rules or edit existing ones from the Transfer Rules subtab.

To create a new rule:

  1. Click the Transfer Rules subtab and refer to the Transfer Rules pane.
  2. Click Create New Transfer Rule to open the rule creation page.
  3. Enter a unique name for the rule.
  4. In the Transfer Source pane, select the RAPCache and RAPCache subscriber.
    Note: If there is only one RAPCache, the name of the it replaces the selection list. If you have only one RAPCache subscriber for the selected RAPCache, it is automatically selected and shows as read-only.
  5. Select the database name and table name for your transfer source.
  6. In the Transfer Target pane, select the target RAPStore and RAPStore subscriber.
  7. In the Execution Conditions pane, select either Cache-full Based or Interval.

    • For scheduled rules, select a time interval and execution days. Fill in a minute number to clarify the time interval.

    • For cache-full based rules, enter a number in the percentage field to define the cache percentage threshold.
  8. Click Save.

To edit an existing rule:


  1. Click the Transfer Rules subtab and refer to the Exisiting Transfer Rule pane.
  2. Click the edit icon Edit Icon next to a rule.
  3. Click Save.
