Configuring a Subscriber

Configure a RAPCache subscriber, register publishers, and modify channel details from the Subscriber Configuration page.

1. From the System Configuration subtab under the Administrator tab, click the edit icon in the System View pane next to the name of the subscriber to modify.
2. Modify subscriber settings in the text fields and tables provided.
   
   • Edit basic publisher properties (such as IP address and resend port) by double-clicking a publisher name and entering the property information into the editable Registered Publishers table.
   • Modify publisher channels in the Data Stream Channels table. See Adding a Channel, Editing a Channel, and Deleting a Channel.
3. Click Save to confirm subscriber configuration modifications.

• RAPCache Subscriber Options
  RAPCache subscriber options entered on the Subscribers Configuration page update XML elements in the rapcache.xml and opensubscriber.xml configuration files.
• RAPStore Subscriber Options
  RAPStore subscriber options entered on the Subscribers Configuration page update XML elements in the rapstore.xml and opensubscriber.xml configuration files.
• Demo Subscriber Options
  Demo subscriber options entered on the Subscribers Configuration page update XML elements in the demodsh.xml and opensubscriber.xml configuration files.
• Adding a Channel to a Subscriber
  Add a subscriber channel from the Component View pane on the System Configuration subtab.
• Registering a Publisher
  Register a publisher with a subscriber from the Subscriber Configuration pane so that the subscriber receives messages from the publisher.
