Configure publisher settings from the Publisher Configuration page, in the System Configuration subtab.
Administrators configure publisher settings for the Demo Feed Handler, FAST Feed Handler, and any user-developed feed handlers, in the Publisher Configuration page.
- Open the System Configuration subtab.

(Optional) Click a publisher's icon
to open the Component View for that publisher.

In the System View pane or the Component View, click the edit icon
next to the name of the publisher to modify.
- In the Publisher Configuration page, modify publisher settings in the text fields provided.
- (Optional) Add or modify data stream channels.
- Click Save to confirm publisher configuration.
For changes to take effect, you may need to take additional actions:

| Validation errors are present in any of the text fields, the error appears above the text field | Fix all errors and save again. |
| You modify the configuration for a running component | Restart the component. |
| There are no errors, and component is not running | No action needed; changes take effect immediately. |
