Adding New Users

Administrators can create new users. A user can be an administrator or operator, but only administrators can access the Administration tab.

To add a new user:

  1. On the Administration tab, click New User.
  2. Enter the user’s name.
  3. (Optional). Create a password, then retype the password in the Confirm Password box.
  4. (Optional). Enter a description of the operator. In the Description box, describe the operator.
  5. Click Save.

Note:
  • Users are active or inactive. By default, new users are active. Inactive users cannot log in to the OpsConsole. Click The user is enabledto toggle the user’s status.

  • If you make a mistake, click Reset to clear the contents of the form. Click Cancel to discard the user and return to the Administration tab.
