[CR #541791] Deleting a Job component in a job created in earlier versions of Sybase IQ ETL does not delete the attached connections.
Workaround: Delete and recreate the Job component.
WARNING! Back up the original job before you edit any job created in versions of Sybase IQ ETL earlier than 4.5.
Deleting and recreating a Job component
Unselect File | Preferences | Workbench | Appearance | “Create links automatically when components are added.”
Delete both the component and its attached links.
Add the new component.
Redraw the connections.
Save the job.
Optionally reselect File | Preferences | Workbench | Appearance | “Create links automatically when components are added” to restore the default preference.
