ddlgen adds these features for Adaptive Server 15.0.3:
ddlgen includes a new object type, LC, which allows you to generate DDL for one or all logical clusters on a server.
To generate DDL for a specific logical cluster, the syntax is:
ddlgen -U user_name -P password -S [ server_name | host:port ] -TLC -N lc_name
For example, to generate DDL for “my_lcluster” on server “ase1”, enter:
ddlgen -Usa -P -Sase1 -TLC -Nmy_lcluster
To generate DDL for all logical clusters on a server, the syntax is:
ddlgen -U user_name -P password -S [ server_name | host:port ] -TLC -N%
For example, to generate DDL for all logical cluster on server “ase1”, enter:
ddlgen -Usa -P -Sase1 -TLC -N%
ddlgen includes the new -XOU extended type for global caches and the new -XOD extended type for local caches.
To generate DDL for all caches, both global and private, the syntax is:
ddlgen -U user_name -P password -S [ server_name | host:port ] -TC -N%
To generate DDL for all global caches, the syntax is:
ddlgen -U user_name -P password -S [ server_name | host:port ] -TC -N% -XOD
To generate DDL for all local caches for all instances, the syntax is:
ddlgen -U user_name -P password -S [ server_name | host:port ] -TC -N%.% -XOD
To generate DDL for all local caches for a particular instance, the syntax is:
ddlgen -U user_name -P password -S [ server_name | host:port ] -TC -Ninstance_name.% -XOD
To generate DDL for a global cache, the syntax is:
ddlgen -U user_name -P password -S [ server_name | host:port ] -TC -Ncache_name
To generate DDL for a local cache for a particular instance, the syntax is:
ddlgen -U user_name -P password -S [ server_name | host:port ] -TC -Ninstance_name.cache_name
