Verifying that the cluster is running and that
you can connect to it
If sybcluster is not running, start it. Enter:
sybcluster -U uafadmin -P -C cluster_name -F "node_name[:port_num] [,node_name[:port_num]]..."
This statement identifies the default cluster and the Unfied Agents on each node in the cluster. If you do not enter this information on the sybcluster command line, you can enter it in the following step. See the Users Guide to Clusters for more information.
Connect to the cluster. Enter:
connect
Start the cluster. Enter:
start cluster
Verify that the cluster is running. Enter:
show cluster status
Verify the cluster configuration. Enter:
show cluster config
