Installing Mirror Replication Agent requires adequate disk space and RAM on the Mirror Replication Agent host machine. The Mirror Replication Agent host also requires network connectivity to the primary database and the Replication Server, and local access to the mirror log devices.
Be aware of the following installation requirements:
Mirror Replication Agent for ASE must be installed on the same UNIX or Microsoft Windows host from which it can directly access the ASE transaction logs or mirror copies of the transaction logs.
Mirror Replication Agent for Oracle must be installed on a UNIX or Microsoft Windows host from which it can directly access the primary Oracle redo logs.
