Because Mirror Replication Agent is a Java-based application, a Java Runtime Environment (JRE) must be installed on the Mirror Replication Agent host machine. A JRE appropriate for your operating system is automatically installed when you install the Mirror Replication Agent software.
Operating system patch levels must be current to support Java 6. See the following Web sites to determine which patches are required for your platform, and for current information about JREs for your platform:
