Property values are stored in the repository in XML format. However, most entries in the Sybase IQ ETL repository are not encrypted but are represented in a readable character set.
To save property values in an encrypted format
Click the line of the property.
Right-click to open the pop-up menu.
Click Encrypt to toggle the current setting.
