Article Properties

You can modify an object's properties from its property sheet. To open an article property sheet, double-click its Browser entry in the Articles folder.

The General tab contains the following properties:

Property	Description
Name	Specifies the name of the item, which should be clear and meaningful, and should convey the item's purpose to non-technical users.
Code	Specifies the technical name of the object, which is used for generating code or scripts.
Comment	Specifies a descriptive comment for the object.
Stereotype	Extends the semantics of the object. You can enter a stereotype directly in this field, or add stereotypes to the list by specifying them in an extension file.
Publication	[read-only] Specifies the publication to which the article belongs (see Publications (DMM)).
Source table	Specifies the source table or view which the article contains. Click the Properties tool to the right of the field to display the source object property sheet.
Remote table	Specifies the remote table or view to which the article will be replicated.

The following tabs are also available:

Columns - lists the columns to replicate (see Columns (DMM)).
Event Scripts - lists the event scripts associated with the article (see Event Scripts (DMM)).

Article Property Sheet Where Clause Tab
The Where Clause tab lets you specify a Where clause to filter the table or view rows to replicate in a script editor.
