This section describes how to start and stop the Tomcat application server.

Starting the Tomcat application server
From a Command Prompt window, navigate to SYBASE\UnwiredAccelerator70.
Enter starttomcat,
or double-click the file name in Windows Explorer.
When Tomcat starts, you see:
Starting service Tomcat-Standalone Apache Tomcat/4.1.29
When you see this message, minimize the Tomcat window (do not close it). If you do not see this message, check the datamanager.log file, located in x:\tmp\logs.
Shutting down the Tomcat application server
From a Command Prompt window, navigate to %SYBASE%\UnwiredAccelerator70.
Enter stoptomcat,
or double-click the file name in Windows Explorer.
