replication_role not given to maintenance users through Sybase Central  Auto Refresh does not work for remote RSM Server

Release Bulletin Sybase® Replication Server® Version 12.6 for Microsoft Windows

RSM Server encrypted passwords are not updated

[CR # 173595] When encryption is on, encrypted passwords used by RSM Server to log in to other servers are not updated when plain text passwords change.

Workaround:

  1. Turn the encryption off.

  2. Reestablish updated passwords.

  3. Turn the encryption on.
