This chapter helps you organize the information you need to install Replication Server software and set up a replication system.
Sybase recommends that you first read this manual to plan your replication system before installing Replication Server. Version 12.6 of Replication Server, however, comes with a sample Replication Server that that you can install during the installation process. For this reason, you can begin installing Replication Server immediately, and return to this manual to configure your Replication Server after installation. To use the sample Replication Server, see Replication Server Installation Guide for Windows to begin installation.
