The amount of virtual memory available on your system can affect the load time of the sample data. To check the setting of virtual memory on your Windows system, choose Start | Settings | Control Panel | System. On the Advanced tab, click Settings in the Performance panel. In the Performance Options dialog, select the Advanced tab. Check the paging file size setting in the Virtual memory panel. If your system has enough disk space, Sybase recommends setting the total paging file size to 2046 MB while you are loading the sample data into the Sybase IQ database.
