OpenSwitch version 15.0 and later allows you to start and stop the RCM automatically from OpenSwitch when OpenSwitch starts.

This functionality is supported by:
Parameters RCM_AUTOSTART, RCM_RETRIES, RCM_PATH, RCM_CFG_FILE, RCM_LOG_FILE, and RCM_SECONDARY in the [CONFIG] section of the OpenSwitch configuration file. See the OpenSwitch Administration Guide, Chapter 3, “Starting and Stopping OpenSwitch and RCMs.
Registered procedures rp_rcm_startup, rp_rcm_shutdown, rp_rcm_connect_primary, and rp_rcm_list. See the OpenSwitch Administration Guide, Chapter 6, “Registered Procedures,” for details.
