Sybase integrates its system management tools into a single desktop application, Sybase Central, which users navigate using a central viewer. Each server product, such as Replication Server or Adaptive Server Enterprise, is managed by a service provider “plug-in” that coexists with other service providers in the Sybase Central framework.
Replication Server uses Replication Server Manager (RSM) as a Sybase Central plug-in. The RSM interface provides the following features:
A graphical user interface
Allows you to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot most replication system components, including primary and replicate data servers
Contains extensive online help that provides a quick reference for Replication Server concepts and tasks
