Sybase integrates system management tools into a desktop product called Sybase Central, which users can navigate using a central viewer. Each server product, such as Replication Server or Adaptive Server Enterprise, is managed by a service provider “plug-in” that coexists with other service providers in the Sybase Central framework.
Replication Server uses Replication Server Manager (RSM) as a Sybase Central plug-in. This tool provides:
A graphical user interface
The ability to manage, monitor, and troubleshoot most replication system components (including primary and replicate data servers, Replication Servers, Replication Agents, and database gateway servers)
Extensive online help that provides a quick reference for Replication Server concepts and tasks
