Use the Secure Portlet Builder to create and edit Web elements captured from secure sites (URLs that begin with https://). Select New Secure Portlet from the New drop-down menu or the right-click menu in the Portlet Manager to launch the Secure Portlet Builder.
The primary type of secure implementation on the Internet is SSL version 3. The portal handles SSL3 using the Java Secure Sockets Extension (JSSE) implementation, which is included in Enterprise Portal. EP does not work with SSL2 sites.
