If you are upgrading from 4.1 or 4.1.x, and you have Web Services Toolkit installed, you may encounter file permissions problems that prevent a full upgrade of the Web Services Toolkit files. To avoid this problem, change the permissions in your EAServer installation to allow overwriting the following files:
java\classes\com\sybase\webservices\tools\wstool\commands.props Webservices\java\jcert.jar Webservices\java\jnet.jar Webservices\java\jsse.jar Webservices\java\log4j.jar Webservices\java\wshelp.jar Webservices\work\proxy\transport.props Webservices\sample\proxy\ClientProxy.props Webservices\sample\proxy\proxyviewer.bat Webservices\sample\proxy\SampleTemplates.xml Webservices\sample\Webservices\work\wsdl\SoapSample.wsdl Webservices\sample\Sample\proxy.html Webservices\sample\Sample\demo.htm Webservices\sample\Sample\dog3.jpg
If you have already upgraded to 4.2 or 5.0 from 4.1 or 4.1.x without changing permissions on these files, do so now, re-run the installer, and reinstall the Web Services option.
