The Uninstall program removes all Unwired Orchestrator components from the installation directory. However, it does not remove the <installation directory> and the log files and any user-created files.
After performing the uninstall, Sybase recommends that you delete the <installation directory> from your machine to clean up the installation of extraneous files.
To uninstall the Unwired Orchestrator on Windows
Start the InstallShield Wizard. Choose from the following:
In a command window, enter the following:
cd <installation directory>\Orch-5_0\uninstaller\uninstall
From the Windows Start menu, select Settings|Control Panel|Add or Remove Programs.
Select Sybase Unwired Orchestrator 5.0, and click Change|Remove.
The UninstallShield Wizard Welcome window appears.
Initiate the uninstallation process. Click Next in the Installer Welcome Window.
The Uninstall Summary window appears displaying the components selected for removal.
Review the list of components to be removed, and click Uninstall to remove the selected components.
A status window appears recording the progress of the uninstall.
When the following message appears, click Finish to complete the uninstall:
The InstallShield Wizard has successfully uninstalled Sybase Unwired Orchestrator 5.0.
To uninstall the Unwired Orchestrator on Solaris
Only authorized users with Administrative rights can uninstall the product. See “Administrative Rights” for more information.
Start the InstallShield Wizard. Choose from the following:
Set the IP address to the machine where you will view the install to the following:
export DISPLAY=<IP address:0.0>
Change to the correct directory. Type the following at the command prompt:
cd <installation directory>/Orch-5_0/uninstaller
Then run the uninstall program. Type the following at the command prompt:
uninstall
The InstallShield Wizard Welcome window appears.
Initiate the uninstallation process. Click Next in the Installer Welcome Window.
The Uninstall Summary window appears displaying the components selected for removal.
Review the list of components to be removed, and click Uninstall to remove the selected components.
A status window appears recording the progress of the uninstall.
When the following message appears, click Finish to complete the uninstall:
