After installing ASE 12.5.2, you must upgrade to ASE 12.5.3 and configure ASE 12.5.3 to work with Sybase WorkSpace. This process comprises the following steps:
Download and launch EBF 12461.
Install and configure TIBCO Enterprise Message Service to test ASE Real Time Messaging Services features.
(Optional) Set up ASE for real-time messaging services, for use as a Web services consumer, or to implement XML features.
To upgrade to ASE 12.5.3
Extract the contents of the EBF12461.zip file to a temporary location.
Open the EFB12461_README.html file included in the zip file and follow the installation instructions.
Launch the setup.exe file to install the EBF.
