Installing Unwired Orchestrator with a Standalone EAServer Advanced Edition Installation

If you have a standalone installation of EAServer 5.2 Advanced Edition server, you have the option of installing Unwired Orchestrator Production Edition server and then deploying to a standalone EAServer installation.

• Install Unwired Orchestrator Production Edition.

  See Chapter 3, “Server Installation on Windows” or Chapter 4, “Server Installation on Solaris” for more information.

• Install the EAServer EBF #1. Do the following:

  • Insert the Sybase WorkSpace installation media and browse the directory for the EBF file:

    \\<installation media directory>\modules\easerver\EBF.zip

  • Unzip the EBF.zip file and follow the instructions in the README.txt file to install the EBF.

• Upgrade to EAServer Advanced Edition with 2-Phase Commit if you have EAServer Advanced Edition installed.

  Copy the EAServer license file to one of the following directories:

  Platform	License File	Target Directory
  Windows	<install directory>/Orch-5_0/ EAServer/ini/SYBASE_EAS.lic	<install directory>/EAServer/ini
  Solaris	<install directory>/Orch-5_0/ EAServer/config/SYBASE_EAS.lic	<install directory>/EAServer/ config

• Run the Configurator to set up your EAServer standalone installation to work with Unwired Orchestrator.

  See Chapter 7, “EAServer Configuration” for more information.

• Change EAServer ports.

• Create an EAServer connection profile that points to the existing EAServer installation.
