Because the command to start the central repository is similar to a DOS command, the command must be prefaced with dot-slash.
To start CIM repository on Windows:
> cd %installdir%\CIMRepository-3_0_0\bin
> .\start.bat
To start CIM repository on UNIX:
% cd $installdir$/CIMRepository-3_0_0/bin
% ./start.sh
