Calling a .NET Web service with EAServer 5.2 causes runtime error

A runtime error occurs when EAServer 5.2 is used as the JSP server and a JSP page calls a .NET Web service method that uses a byte array as a parameter. This does not occur if EAServer 5.1 is used as the JSP server. [CR 378724]
