The UpdateBlob SQL statement updates garbage characters to the database if the encoding of the blob variant is not UTF-16LE. For Adaptive Server Enterprise, PowerBuilder crashes if the encoding of the blob is ANSI or UTF-8 and contains fewer than 10 characters. [CR 353231]
