Chinese fonts display incorrectly

[CR #278597] When EAServer runs on the Chinese version of Windows NT or Windows 2000, Chinese fonts do not display correctly. This is a known JDK bug #4218927/4675411.

Workaround:

  1. Using a text editor, open the font.properites.zh file located in the EAServer jdk\jdk1.2.2\jre\lib directory.

  2. Change the line:

    filename.\u5b8b\u4f53=SIMSUN.TTF

    to:

    filename.\u5b8b\u4f53=SIMSUN.TTC

    You can also substitute the name of any existing Chinese TrueType Font file.

  3. Make the same change in the font.properites.zh file, located in the EAServer jdk\jdk1.3\jre\lib directory.
